Emamectine benzoate is recommended for the control of bollworms on cotton, fruits and shoot borer on okra. Diamond black mouth on cabbage, fruit and shoot borer, trips and mites on chilli, fruits and shoot borer on brinjal, pod borer on red grams, chickpea, thrips on grapes and tea loopers on tea.
Apply the insecticides when the incidence of larvae is first observed and repeat applications as necessary. Apply the insecticide in the sufficient quantity of water to ensure through coverage of the foliage. Emamectine benzoate 5% sg is toxic to aquaculture and honey bees.
